Rookie running back Fernando Mendoza is expected to see significant action Thursday when the Las Vegas Raiders travel to Houston for their second preseason game against the Texans. “He’s going to get tons of reps this preseason,” manager Klint Kubiak said. “He needs each 1 of them.” Mendoza completed 10 of 16 passes for 97 yards and a touchdown in his debut, a 27‑14 loss to the Arizona Cardinals in the preseason opener.
