LETTER: How to keep immigrants off the public tab

Las Vegas — September 23, 2026 — 9:00 p.m. — G. Ahearn submitted a letter to the editor in response to Friday’s editorial headlined “Democrats complaint up to support migrant handouts.” In the letter, Ahearn contends that every individual seeking migration to the United States should be required to have a sponsor. The sponsor would sign an agreement to assume responsibility for the immigrant while in the country, and any associated expenses should be billed directly to that sponsor.
