Attorneys for a former legislative campaigner are asking the Metropolitan Police Department to explain how attorney‑client calls were intercepted during a wiretap.
Chief District Judge Tierra Jones previously declined to dismiss the lawsuit against Daniel Rodimer, who is accused of attacking and beating 47‑year‑old Christopher Tapp during an Oct. 2023 incident at a Resorts World suite. Police said Rodimer became aggravated after Tapp allegedly offered his stepdaughter cocaine.
Rodimer, a former professional wrestler, received an endorsement from President Donald Trump while running for Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District in 2020.
