The club will launch its defense of the Western Conference title on Sept. 29 when it hosts the Chicago Blackhawks at T‑Mobile Arena. The announcement came via the team’s X account. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. as part of an opening‑night tripleheader broadcast on ESPN. Earlier that day, the defending Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes will welcome the Florida Panthers at 2 p.m. in Raleigh, North Carolina. At 5 p.m., an Original Six rivalry resumes when the New York Rangers travel to Boston to face the Bruins. The complete 2026‑27 NHL schedule is slated for release on Thursday.
