John Mayer plans solo, full band and trio sets in new residency at Sphere

Las Vegas venues announced a slate of performances for the coming autumn, extending the entertainment calendar into 2027. At the top of the list is John Mayer’s upcoming residency at Sphere, with additional dates revealed for Carlos Santana, Collective Soul, Nikki Glaser, David Spade, Tom Segura and Daniel Tosh, plus two extra “Welcome to Our Nightmare” shows and a one‑night Elvis tribute. John Mayer will perform six shows at Sphere in Las Vegas in April 2027, according to a press release issued Monday by Live Nation and Sphere. The scheduled dates are April 8, 10, 11, 15, 17 and 18. Each concert will feature Mayer’s music in three formats: solo, with a full band, and with the John Mayer Trio, which includes bassist Pino Palladino and drummer Steve Jordan.
