Hispanic supermarket opening 5th Las Vegas-area location

El Super is opening its fifth Las Vegas Valley location in September at 1601 W. Craig Road in North Las Vegas. The new 32,000‑square‑foot store will offer market products from Latin America, a full-service nutrient department, a bakery with freshly made breads, cookware dulce and tortillas, and nutrient and ready-to-go dishes from its restaurant. The location is expected to employ approximately 120 full‑ and part‑time team members. Other El Super stores are situated on West Sahara Avenue, East Lake Mead Boulevard, South Lamb Boulevard and East Tropicana Avenue. Nationwide the chain has about 70 locations in California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona and Texas. El Super operates as part of Chedraui USA, which also includes Fiesta Mart and Smart & Final.
