Gruffalo illustrator says rise of AI images 'worrying'

The illustrator for the Gruffalo books has said images created by artificial quality (AI) are "worrying".

Axel Scheffler said AI pictures are "a breach of copyright" and suffer their charm erstwhile compared to the hand-drawn originals.

He was speaking to the BBC alongside writer Dame Julia Donaldson for the motorboat of their caller publication Gruffalo Granny, with Dame Julia speechmaking an extract.
