The Golden Knights have added former NHL veteran and Colorado Eagles coach Mark Letestu to their coaching staff.

The Vegas Golden Knights person added erstwhile Colorado Eagles manager and NHL seasoned Mark Letestu to Ryan Craig’s coaching staff, it was announced Tuesday.

The remainder of the Knights’ coaching unit from past twelvemonth volition return. That includes adjunct manager Dom Ducharme, whose declaration was acceptable to expire Tuesday.

Letestu coached the Eagles to a 41-20-11 grounds successful his lone play with the squad and reached the Western Conference Final earlier losing to the Chicago Wolves. Prior to that, Letestu was an adjunct manager for the AHL’s Cleveland Monsters.

Letestu played 567 games crossed an 11-year NHL career. Six of those seasons came with the Columbus Blue Jackets, and 2 of those were played with Craig (2014-15).

The 41-year-old from Elk Point, Alberta, played for 4 teams during his NHL career, including the Edmonton Oilers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Winnipeg Jets.
