The man was taken to hospital after the car was driven through fields, fences and walls, police say.

The Great Orme, a limestone headland extending from the north‑bound shoreline of Wales, rises to an elevation of 207 m (679 ft) above sea level. Its sheer cliffs plunge dramatically into the Irish Sea. The area attracts visitors with a Victorian tramway, a cableway, walking routes and a mining museum. Llandudno’s Marine Drive, the five‑mile toll road that loops around the base of the headland, is chiefly a tourist route but is also renowned for hosting speed trials during events such as the Cambrian Rally and the Tour Britannia Rally.
