The US says it has struck and "disabled an unladen lipid tanker" that was sailing towards Iran, arsenic portion of Washington's naval blockade connected the Strait of Hormuz.
In a statement, US Central Command (Centcom) said a US craft fired a Hellfire rocket into the motor country of the Botswana-flagged M/T vessel, aft its unit "ignored repeated warnings".
