Silver State Schools Credit Union appoints president, CEO

Silver State Schools Credit Union announced on August 5, 2026 at 11:35 a.m. that Ralph Ramirez has been appointed president and chief executive officer. Since joining the credit union in 2023, Ramirez has strengthened leadership, improved operational performance, expanded direct lending, increased non‑interest income, and established strategic partnerships with the Clark County School District and the UNLV Alumni Association, the organization said. With more than 34 years of experience in financial services, Ramirez previously held executive positions at USC Credit Union, F&A Federal Credit Union, Arrowhead Credit Union, and other industry organizations.
