LETTER: Primm hotels shutting down

The Sunday Review-Journal reports that all the hotels and casinos are closing down in Primm Valley. What a wonderful opportunity for all the unhoused veterans and homeless people if the nonprofits were given a chance to take over one or two of those properties.

I’m sure there would be plenty of rooms available for each and every one of our veterans. My vision is seeing a beautiful complex such as a hotel that is slated to be torn down turned into a veterans housing unit. They could even enjoy a beautiful buffet — breakfast, lunch and dinner. All the employees would keep their jobs, no disruption in their lives.
