ICE agents arrest Chinese man with pending asylum case at Las Vegas airport

ICE agents arrested Chinese national Jialiang Wei, who has a pending asylum case, at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas on Aug. 19 after he disembarked an Alaska Airlines flight that had arrived from Hawaii. Wei was taken into custody on allegations that he was present in the United States without legal authorization. He had previously appeared at a national migration justice proceeding in Las Vegas earlier on Tuesday.
