Joan Wenger, a minimum-security inmate who escaped from Jean Conservation Camp successful 2024, is successful custody, the Nevada Department of Corrections said Monday.

Wenger escaped from the campy successful September 2024. She was arrested by Port of Seattle Police successful Seattle connected May 31, the NDOC said successful a statement.

She was admitted to the NDOC connected Dec. 1, 2021, from Douglas County. She was serving a condemnation of 120 months for vehicular homicide.

The camp, located successful Jean astir 20 miles southbound of Las Vegas,is closing July 1. Jean is the lone conservation campy for pistillate offenders successful Nevada.
