Taylor Swift did not appear at Allegiant Field on Sunday, yet the suites still featured some atrocious humor. After the Las Vegas Raiders fell short to the Kansas City Chiefs 30‑27 on Sunday, Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, took to social media to direct a jab at Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak.
Entering halftime with his squad leading by three points, Kubiak told CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson that the Raiders’ running game had not been “good enough, we got to bash better.” He then added, “But you know what, we’re winning,” before uttering the line that caught Mahomes’ attention: “We’re going to win this game.”
The Chiefs erased the early deficit, scoring 20 points in the final quarter to eke out the victory. Mahomes shared sideline photos of herself after the contest alongside Kubiak’s halftime remark, captioning the post, “We’re winning. We’re gonna win this game,” with a giggling emoji.
The image quickly amassed thousands of likes and hundreds of comments, as Kubiak’s halftime interview had already been circulating online before the game concluded.
Just four games into his tenure in Las Vegas, Kubiak has supplied the Chiefs with additional bulletin‑board material; Las Vegas will host Kansas City for a rematch in the season’s final regular‑season meeting.
