WASHINGTON— Law enforcement authorities are responding to shots that were fired adjacent the White House grounds, FBI Director Kash Patel said.
Journalists moving determination Saturday reported proceeding a bid of gunshots and were told to question structure wrong the property briefing room, wherever U.S. Secret Service officers prevented them from leaving.
There were nary contiguous reports of immoderate injuries. On X, Secret Service said it was “aware of reports of shots fired adjacent 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW” — 1 artifact from the White House — and was “working to corroborate the accusation with unit connected the ground.”
In a societal media post, FBI Director Kash Patel said officers were responding to shots fired and said helium would “update the nationalist arsenic we’re able.”
