The 215 southbound off-ramp to Summerlin Parkway and the Summerlin Parkway on-ramp to 215 southbound volition beryllium closed betwixt 9 p.m. Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday, Clark County announced Tuesday.

The closure is required for crews to determination the platform of a pedestrian span that is being built implicit the brace of Summerlin Parkway ramps.

The 215/Summerlin Parkway interchange task includes the revamping of interchange ramps, operation of caller bridges and a flyover ramp from 215 southbound to Summerlin Parkway eastbound, widening of the existing Summerlin Parkway span and adding 3 caller way bridges, including the 1 spanning the 215.

Once built, the pedestrian span volition nexus the existing Beltway West Trail, which runs on the 215, to the under-construction Summerlin Parkway Trail. The shared-use way is unfastened to pedestrians, runners and bicyclists.
